Friday around 4:00 am, 8 prisoners including 3 life sentence and 5 convicted of other crimes escaped from police station of Petit-Goâve. They are Jean Kesnel Michel, Casner Petrice, Pierre Renel, Gaspard Jean, D'haiti Fritzner, Pierre Evans, Saint-Surin Ronel et Pierre Renel.

These prisoners escaped by sawing the bars of a window of one of the prison cells, using a hacksaw, probably brought by the wife of a detainee.
