Haiti - FLASH : Serious bus crash carrying 46 Haitian migrants in DR

Thursday, a bus carrying 46 Haitian in irregular migratory situation, left the road before violently hitting a tree following a failure of the braking system.
The accident happened between the communities of Constanza and Bonao, about 130 kilometers northwest of Santo Domingo, made 3 dead and 27 injured, including the driver of the bus, balance sheet confirmed by the Regional Command South Cibao of the police.
The minor injuries were transported to the hospital Pedro Emilio Marchena, in Bonao, where hospital staff had to face a lot of confusion, because of the presence of dozens of Haitians, came to support their countrymen.
Other most seriously injured Haitians, were transported to various regional health centers.
