Sunday, October 18, the Haitian Catholic Mission of the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Consular Mission invite the faithful of all religious denominations in a Mass to be celebrated in memory of Jean-Jacques Dessalines, at 5:30 pm at the Church of Notre lady of Peace, located at 7801 South Jeffrey, Chicago

After the religious ceremony, a reception will be offered in the basement of the church.

The Consulate General of Haiti in Chicago relies on presence in many of our compatriots to enhance the splendor of this commemoration.
