Also, in a statement Jean Vernet Henry, Chairman of the State University of Haiti (CU/UEH) gathered in extraordinary session Friday, October 9, 2015, informs that the Council "passed a resolution which enshrines the expulsion of the student Makenzie Toussaint from UEH. This decision of the CU is final and excludes any possibility of return of this former student in the UEH."

The Council took advantage to recall that "[...] in accordance with the decision of the CU, an investigation is underway to continue to shed light on this unfortunate and condemnable incident, fix the responsibility, consider proportionate penalties and prosecution against others involved in this odious and degrading spectacle."
