"Haiti is preparing for a crucial electoral appointment this Sunday, October 25, voters will participate in the second round of legislative elections, the first round of presidential and municipal. France calls for the proper conduct of the elections, without violence and with the highest possible participation of voters.

It notes the efforts of the parties involved in the preparation of these elections to correct the failures of the first round of elections on 9 August.

It calls on all actors and primarily: the Provisional Electoral Council, the National Police of Haiti and the political parties, to ensure the expression of the democratic will of the Haitian people.
