Saturday, in the presence of Ronald Décembre, ecretary of State for Finance, Max Antoine, Executive Secretary of the Technical Commission of Borders (CTF), Hérold Etienne, Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Victor St. Louis, Director General of Customs, Miradin Morlan, Director General of Taxes (DGI) and Mr. Lesy Etienne, Assistant Director General for Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Finance; took place the signing of a protocol agreement between the Haitian Government, represented by Wilson Laleau, Minister of Economy and the Israeli firm HLSI, represented by its Vice-President Eva Peled.

This agreement on the strengthening of border management focus among others on :

• The restructuring and modernization of 9 customs posts ;

• The acquisition of materials and equipment ;

• Border surveillance (air, land and sea) ;

• Employee Capacity Building.
