She believes that the results that is about to publish the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) and the irresponsible statements of several candidates who declare themselves winner may cause violent unrest in the country.

The fixed idea of Me André Michel

Me André Michel, fierce opponent of President Martelly, who abandoned the race for the presidency under the banner of the platform JISTIS https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15253-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html considers that the elections of 25 October were the most corrupt in the history of the country. He appealed to all discontent candidates to join him in his fight for a transitional government and the dismissal of the Head of State.

Rumor, rumor....

For a week rumors are circulating suggesting to those who want believe them, that Jovenel Moïse presidential candidate under the banner of PHTK would be elected in the first round with a score of over 50%... Rumors that warm some actors of the opposition, announcing protests to counter this attempt to hijack the popular vote... Meanwhile Fritz Jean-Louis, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister responsible for electoral matters, accused these political parties of loser, who do not accept their defeat, while the CEP has not yet released results https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15653-haiti-flash-postponement-of-results-of-the-elections-to-november-5.html

The Red Cross denied its involvement in the fraud

Jean Pierre Guiteau, the President of the Haitian Red Cross (HRC), denies the information of several leaders of political opposition parties, who claim that the ambulances were involved in electoral fraud on October 25, notably in the transportation of ballot boxes and ballots. He argues that the ambulance service deployed by HRC was done in "full respect of the fundamental principles of the movement: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality." He recalls that all its vehicles and ambulances are identified by the emblem of the Red Cross movement, in accordance with the decrees of 1932 and 1935. However, he stresses that there is currently no law in Haiti on the use of this logo, which means that anyone can use it as they wish...

For his part, Garnel Michel, Deputy Director of the National Ambulance Center, announces the forthcoming publication of a detailed report with the names of drivers, vehicle registration that they had in their possession and the points where they were assigned, considering that those who carry these false rumors "are being causing more harm to the population than good."
