Haiti - Elections : Evans Paul welcomes the publication of the preliminary results of the presidential

In a note, the Prime Minister Evans Paul "welcomes the publication by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) Thursday, November 5, of the preliminary results of the first round of presidential elections of 25 October and reaffirmed the government's will to continue supporting the electoral process, for the installation :

1) of 2 bodies of the legislature (the Chamber of Deputies and two missing third of the Senate of the Republic), on the second Monday of January 2016;

2) Of elected authorities in all territorial authorities of the country during the same month of January 2016;

3) Of a new elect Elected president, replacing His Excellency President Michel Joseph Martelly, February 7, 2016.

The Prime Minister reassured the population of the full commitment of the Haitian National Police (PNH) to ensure security, to allow everyone to attend peacefully, with their customary activities, in the circumstances.

He relies on the patriotism, understanding and cooperation of all political actors in the country, called to promote national democratic order, in strict observance of the law and civilizing principles of living together, essential to economic and social progress of our beloved country."
