Haiti - FLASH : Results of the senatorial elections of October 25, 2015
Senators elected in the 2nd round :
Carl Murat Cantave, (KID) obtained 53.39% of votes ;
Nenel Cassy, Fanmi Lavalas, obtained 29.98% of votes ;
Francenet Denius (Verite) obtained 27.89% of votes ;
Onondieu Louis (KID) obtained 37.69% of votes ;
Evalière Beauplan (PONT), obtained 36.53% of votes ;
North east :
Ronald Larêche (Verite) obtained 39.42% of votes ;
Jacques Sauveur Jean (PHTK) obtained 31.03% of votes ;
Antonio Cheramy (Verite) obtained 64.40% of votes
Jean-Marie Jr Salomon (OPL) obtained 28.33% of votes ;
Richard Lenine Hervé Fourcand (PHTK) obtained 27.51% of votes ;
Dieupie Chérubin (KID) obtained 28.78% of votes ;
Ricard Pierre (Pitit Dessalines) obtained 28.32% of votes.
To these 12 senators elected in the second round, if they are confirmed after the period of dispute with the Departmental Electoral Office of Litigation (BCED) and on appeal to the National Office of Electoral Litigation (BCEN), will be added Jean Renel Senatus, LIDE (West) and Youri Latortue, AAA (Artibonite), who was elected in the first round.
Because of the violence of the first round of legislative the elections were resumed in the departments of North, of the Centre and Grand'Anse.
Results 1st round (first 2 Senators head) :
North : Nawoom Marcellus (Bouclier) obtained 22.74% of votes ;
Dieudonne Etienne Luma (PHTK) obtained 17.64% of votes.
Willot Joseph (PHTK) obtained 27.78% of votes ;
Wilfrid Gelin (PHTK) obtained 15.75% of votes.
Guy Philippe (Consortium) obtained 22.49% of votes ;
Sorel Jacinthe (Inite Patriotik) obtained 21.80% of votes.
