Haiti - Security : Warning to political actors 09/11/2015 08:28:27
"However, the police will not tolerate any violent demonstration, not only disturbing public order and breaks social peace, but also prevents citizens to go about their business freely and violates the security of lives and property," stating that the PNH received instructions to apprehend any person who contravenes the Law by using violence or threatening to use it. He urges political actors "to produce their Challenges in accordance with the Act." The Minister Casimir reminds the Government Commissioners near the Courts of First Instance, they "must treat cases referred to them expeditiously, taking advantage of the provisions of the May 6, 1927 Act on immediate appearance in correctional."
