We are told that many rivers in flood in many areas.

Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive informed that the Emergency Operations Center (COU) is activated at the National Palace.

The Emergency Operations Centers Departmental (COUD) are also activated in the ten departments of the country.

Ronald Semelfort, the Director of National Center of Meteorology, said that rising sea levels could rise to 2.5 meters and penetrate deep into the lowlands and cause significant damage.
