Haiti - Culture : Big popular music concert in St-Marc
Following the success of the concert of September 5, at the request of the public, a second big popular music concert, sponsored by several businessmen and business women in the city of Saint-Marc, will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 7: 00 pm at Troquet Café Theatre, located in Pivert, (Saint-Marc).

This spectacle of socio-cultural and musical character will see the performance of artists Marjorie Cajuste, Jean Rosemond Charles, Wagner Paysan and Joël Lorquet. Other groups of the Artibonite department, among others, the Troop of Barnel Archedou, Sim Création, the Dance Troupe La Reine Congo and Taty Dance Company will also perform this Saturday.

Marjorie Cajuste :
The singer Marjorie Cajuste began her career with appearances in the "Ragga Jam" group. She works on solo projects and with her group "Ginen Flanbo". His best known songs are "Latibonit", "Banm rara'm" and "Taxi". Accompanied by Lorquet she recently offered several concerts abroad, especially in the Dominican Republic and the United States.

Jean Rosemond Charles :
The singer-songwriter Jean Rosemond Charles is one of the most prominent in the city of Nissage Saget. He is very active in the cultural activities of his hometown.

Wagner Paysan :
Wagner Paysan is a young artist who has chosen to exercise his talents through traditional and peasant music. He's very popular especially in the department of Artibonite, where he is often invited to lead cultural character evenings.

Joël Lorquet :
Joël Lorquet was born in Port-au-Prince of parents from of St. Marc, former singer of the first generation of the group "Alanbanza" recorded his first songs in 1984, to the National Radio of Haiti. Lorquet Joel's albums include in 1992 "Annou bay Lamen" ; 1994 "L'amour est merveilleux" ; with the Children of the Heart Foundation for Haiti; 1998 "Pouki Ayiti Soufri?" and in 2004 "804-2004" (a popular music album).
