The Evaluation Commission confirms its delay

In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the Commission Armand Louis "The Independent Electoral Commission of Evaluation informs all that given the amount of work remaining, it will not be possible to deliver the report on the date set by the Order [30 December 2015].

Indeed, after evaluating the rest of the work at Votes Tabulation Center (CTV), the Commission think it can say with certainty, that the report will not be available in 2015. This is why it requested an extension of its mandate.

Confident that the verification at CTV will comes enrich its work, the Commission reiterated its commitment to the Haitian people to conduct this process of electoral evaluation independently and without bias."

Moïse Jean-Charles proclaims himself winner of the first round !

The "Pitit Desalin" platform has claimed the victory in the first round of Moïse Jean Charles and presented for 2 days, the Minutes (PV) confirming according the Party, the clear victory in the first round of the former senator by 51.3% of the vote, followed by Jude Célestin, candidate of LAPEH, with 15.35% of the then of PHTK candidate, Jovenel Moïse, 12.27% and Dr. Maryse Narcisse of Fanmi Lavalas with 8.34%...

Asked about the authenticity of more than 12.380 PV that the party claims to hold, the spokesman of "Pitit Dessalines" said to believe in its structure and in its representatives...

One may however wonder why the party has not filed a complaint with the National Office of Electoral Litigation (BCEN) and deposited all its PV as evidence when it was time, rather than taking the press as witness ? It must be said that the Party of Moïse Jean-Charles, is not the only party in the G8 to affirm also hold Minutes demonstrating their victory in the first round...

Attempt to influence the Commission report ?
