For his part Jean Hector Anacacis, coordinator of LAPEH says "Jude Célestin will not go to elections with Jovenel Moïse. If he participates, he will go alone. I ordered to all coordinators that they have no right to participate in meetings with anybody..."

First anticipation of blocking actions in the Senate

The Senator of Northwest, Evalière Beauplan (sole representative of PONT in the Senate) announced that the first act that will lay the Senators will be the adoption of a resolution affirming the impossibility of conducting the elections on 24 January, the suspension of all activities related to the elections and the cancellation of all the decrees issued by President Michel Martelly... nothing less !

The Prime Minister should he resign ?

With the opening of Parliament some think the government of Evans Paul will no longer be able to lead the country and consequently, Prime Minister Evans Paul will have to submit his resignation letter.
