The Communication Office of the Primature informs that the carnival festivities of the first day fat, provided this Sunday, February 7, 2016 are suspended in Port-au-Prince, due to complications related to events marking the end of the presidential term the same day.

Prime Minister Evans Paul reiterated his call for calm and reiterates to the various sectors involved in the crisis in the country to show responsibility, by maintaining a calm atmosphere.

According to our information the carnival festivities start tomorrow, Monday, February 8, at 4:00 PM at the Champ de Mars.
