Wednesday Dithny Joan Raton, the Minister of Culture, accompanied by its Director General, Jean Michel Lapin met the first group of Interim Executive Agents on the implementation of the Project for the creation of Cultural Development Agents Network (RADC) in the Municipalities.

This working meeting, which was held in the premises of the Ministry, was to inform municipal officials of the profile and responsibilities of Cultural Development Agents (ADC) who will work with their respective governments "Cultural development agent is a professional of Culture that will contribute to the planning of cultural development projects of the territory and their implementation in accordance with the Ministry of Culture policy and vision of the concerned Municipality," explained the Minister Raton, adding "municipal officials also have an important role to play, not only to determine the most appropriate intervention, given the specificities of each city, but to establish and enforce regulations related to the projects of implementations in the territory."

The first step of this project project involves the recruitment and training of Development Agents. For the year 2015-2016, the Ministry recruits a first group of agents in different cities of the country, selected on the basis of their training in the field of culture, experience as cultural operators, their knowledge of the cultural community of the area for which they are applying and stability and interest in and for the municipality.

Note that the recruitment phase that ended February 29, 2016 has been extended until March 8, 2016
