Wednesday morning, to the bicentenary, near the National Theatre, Gérald François (38) police officer assigned to the traffic department was mortally wounded by several bullets fired by unidentified individuals, confirmed the Principal Inspector, Garry Desrosiers, Deputy spokesperson of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

Adding that a few hours after the murder at the intersection of Aviation, another police officer was injured by gunfire and rushed to hospital. Garry Desrosiers calls for the collaboration of the population recalling that the informations can be reported by calling 3838-1111.
