Haiti - FLASH : No quorum, session adjourned
Thursday afternoon had to hold a session in the Chamber of Deputies for the presentation and ratification or not of the Statement of General Policy of the new Prime Minister named Enex Jean-Charles https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16952-haiti-flash-enex-j-jean-charles-new-prime-minister-named.html .

After two roll call the number of deputies present was only 52, while 60 was needed for a quorum, the deputies absent were mainly from the majority bloc "Parliamentary Alliance for Haiti" (APH).

According to the internal regulations of the Chamber of Deputies, after a second call if the quorum is not found, the meeting is adjourned and is postponed.

"The quorum is not found the session is adjourned and will be resumed at a later date," declared Cholzer Chancy, President of the Chamber of Deputies.

"The session of the statement of my policy statement is reported in the lower house, I remain available," declared Enex Jean-Charles.
