Haiti - FLASH : Macabre discovery of a headless body

The Haitian and Dominican authorities are investigating on the death of a man, possibly of Haitian origin, whose decapitated body was found on the shores of the Massacre River in the sector of Maqueta between the town of Ouanaminthe, in Haiti and Dajabón (northwest of the Dominican Republic).
The corpse having been discovered on Haitian territory, it is up to the Haitian authorities to investigate indicated a Dominican police source, however, since the head has not been found and it is possible that the assassin(s) threw him in the river that separates the two countries, an investigation has also been opened on the Dominican side.
So far the police authorities in Haiti have not yet managed to identify the victim, aged about 25 to 30 years. Haitian officials believe the decapitation might have been the only cause of death because the body of the victim showed no signs of injury on other parts of his body.
