The Federation of Haitian Football (FHF) announced that the current star of Haitian women's football, Nérilia Mondesir, was officially invited by the Olympique Lyonnais to participate in an internship in France in the Club from April 18 to May 1, 2016.

Note that the women's section of the Olympic Lyonnais had the best women's team in France for more than a thirty year, winning 13 championships of France, 7 Challenges or French Cup, two Champions Leagues of the UEFA and one unofficial World Club Cup.

The FHF is working hard to promote the development of women's football at international level from the new generations of players trained in "Camp-nous Académie" The first step will be taken with Nérilla but the goal of the FHF is to raise the level of football and to improve the competitive and socially level of talented girls in training. Nérilia should be the flagship, which will drag the other girls in a wave to increase their international experience. Several girls from the Centre such as Soveline Beaubrun, Jenifer Limage, Kensia Destinvil, Batcheba Louis, etc... all have the talent to play at the highest level in Europe.

The FHF began the process of obtaining: visa, airfare and other facilities required for this internship. A big challenge for the Federation, a crucial challenge for our girls and for Nérilla , France being a gateway to Europe and Asia.

Nérilia Mondesir was born in February 1999 in Grand Pré (near quartier Morin, in the North department) is one of the best strikers in the history of Haitian football. Nicknamed "NériGol" because of its impressive record of goals scored, every time she has the ball Nérilia recorded in 2015, 33 goals in 17 matches played (including friendlies) with three different selections: 15 goals in 7 matches (U-17); 5 goals in 7 matches (U-20) and 13 goals in 3 matches (U-23). With 4 goals scored in the second round of qualifying for the World Cup Jordan 2016, she won the title of best player and shared with Jamaican Shaw Kadjina the Golden Boot of the Caribbean Championship 2015 U17.
