Rumors in Parliament, the Lower House is preparing

A rumor suggests in Parliament that President a.i. Privert would not have the intention to convene to the Extraordinary the deputies who will go into recess on 9 May. Wanting to decide the fate of Chief State on May 14 (the end of the transitional mandate) of Deputies worried about what might happen if they are on vacation, want a resolution declares a state of permanence until the resolution of the crisis. Abel Descolines,the first secretary of the Office of the Lower House confirms that the deputies are working on such a resolution that could be adopted soon.

Danton Léger promises to review some decisions

Pro-Privert and PHTK clash in the streets

Kenneth Merten and Peter Mulrean visited the Haitian Senate

Thursday, Kenneth Merten, the Special Coordinator for Haiti at the State Department was on visit in the country accompanied by US Ambassador Peter Mulrean to assess progress toward the completion of the 2015 electoral process and the installation of a democratically elected government in Haiti. They paid a visit to the Senate to express their concerns about the political crisis and concerns over the duration of the transitional government. For the Group of senators of the majority it was interference and US pressure while for the Group of the minority opposition, it was only a courtesy visit and exchanges respectful and friendly.
