Haiti - Football : The Minister Nazaire interested in disabled athletes

Friday at Centre Goal Joseph Blatter, Abel Nazaire, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, visited a clinic for the benefit of disabled athletes, held by Puerto Rican physicians of the NGO "Haïti se pone de pie".

The Ministe Nazaire spoke at length with players of Zaryen, a football team for amputees (man and woman) located in Port-au-Prince, most of the players have suffered the loss of a limb in the earthquake of 2010 and which were the major beneficiaries of this clinic.

At this clinic, the physicians of "Haïti se pone de pie" have donated tens of prostheses to young players of the Zaryen team.

The Minister warmly congratulated the members of the NGOs for their intervention for young Haitian athletes with disabilities and encouraging them to continue working to the benefit of handisport in Haiti awaiting the soon execution of the disabled sports programs by the Ministry of Youth.
