Jovenel Moïse qualifies himself as a true democrat

Abel Descolines for the extension of the mandate of Privert

The Deputy Abel Descolines (Mirebalais), First Secretary of the Lower House, believes that President a.i. Privert can not dissolve Parliament. He accused relatives of the Head of State to have brandished the threat of the return of Deputies after the parliamentary vacancy describing it as an unfair maneuver.

Moreover, he is in favor of an extension of the mandate of the Head of the interim government, as part of a new agreement, involving the executive and the legislature, in order to take into account of the circumstances that prevented compliance with deadlines in the agreement of 6 February.

New Director of the Pine Forest

Tuesday, Simon Dieuseul Desras, the Minister of the Environment has proceeded to the installation ceremony of the new Director of the Pine Forest, Gerrard Deserne. The newcomer has previously worked with the Returnees Support Group and Refugees (GARR) and spent part of his studies at the Universidad Agraria de La Habana (Cuba).
