Haiti - Politic : Beginning of the presentation of certificates to elected mayors

Monday, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) started the sistribution process of certificates to elected mayors. This distribution that will last until Wednesday, concerns the 70 elected mayors, who have not been disputed or have obtained favorable decisions at National Electoral Office of Litigation (BCEN) and whose name has been published in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur".
Monday, it is the elected mayors of departments of West, Centre and Artibonite, who received their certificates. Tuesday it will be the elected of the Grande-Anse, Nippes and Northwest and tomorrow, Wednesday the North, Northeast, South and Southeast.
Subsequently, the Ministry of the Interior will ensure the continuation of the process leading to the inauguration of mayors, there will firstly the swearing to the Court of First Instance and then the installation ceremony to the Town Hall.
