The Youth Government of Haiti (GJH) launched its "citizenship school" project. Through this project, the GJH wants to build citizenship and patriotism in the youth population on which rests the future of the country.

To mobilize Haitian youth in accomplishing this project, the Youth Government of Haiti expects to realize several activities including radio and TV educational program, awareness workshops and training seminars in schools, universities and in remote communities of the country on including : non-violence, climate change, gender equity, health issues, forums and chats.

Amos Cincir the Young President of the Youth Government of Haiti, expressed hope that "this project will attract the attention of the competent authorities on the dangers faced by the Haitian population by being deprived of the teaching of civic and democratic values." He also invites all those who have any power in society "to offer the youth an image other than the struggle for power and money."
