Haiti - Security : Good news of the PNH !

Commissioner Frantz Lerebours, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced a drop in crime in the metropolitan area for the period of March to May, 2016.
This decline is particularly sensitive for cases of rape (64 in March, 43 in April and 34 for May), for cases of kidnapping (10 in March, 3 during April and 1 for May) and homicides (107 in March, 80 in April and 52 in May).
If he acknowledges with satisfaction that the drop in crime is the objective of the police however he believes that other factors may also contribute to the origin of this decline, without giving more details... his does not change the fact that this is good news for the population.
