Haiti - Elections : Weapons in circulation, Minustah is playing with words... 27/11/2010 09:53:45 Vincenzo Pugliesse, the spokesman for the UN Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (Minustah), said on November 10, after a month of investigations by police, it was not possible to confirm the allegations made regarding distributions or the trafficking of weapons into the country during the election campaign. We are reassured, thank you Mr Mulet for this important clarification ! But distributed or redistributed, these weapons remain a threat to Sunday's elections and the public. Recall that during this election campaign, neither Minustah nor the Haitian National Police (PNH) have seized illegal weapons yet visible on several occasions...
