In a notice dated Monday, June 6, the Directorate General of the National Airport Authority (AAN) inform the public in general and the airlines in particular, that it was observed a deterioration at the runway of the Hugo Chavez International airport of Cap-Haitien, due to upwelling water to the surface.

This has caused movement restrictions to medium aircraft. However, light aircraft can land and take off normally.
