At Verrettes some people report that the polling stations are closed and observers of political parties (representatives) have left the places. Gunshots are heard everywhere... Minsutah and the Haitian National Police (PNH) does not intervene.

At Les Cayes, a voter was arrested at a polling station, holding a 9mm caliber pistol.

Closures of polling stations at Carrefour and automatic weapons fire are reported.

At Lycée Jean Jacques (in Port-au-Prince) a group of people threaten voters who intend to vote for candidates Manigat or Baker.

Witnesses say they saw supporters of the candidate Michel Martelly, tear ballots and forcing the closure of polling stations in Delmas ...
