As part of the Franco-Haitian Educational cooperation a budget of €15 million covering the period 2016-2020, is intended to finance a project that will improve the quality of education provided from 3rd fundamental cycle to new secondary, while strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Education, as is the overall objective that will be implemented by early 2017.

This project is articulated around 3 axes: support the deployment of the third cycle renovated, integrated within comprehensive fundamental schools; accompany the implementation of the New secondary and support the implementation and monitoring of sectoral reforms.

The partners including among others the French Development Agency (AFD) insist that it is the Haitian Ministry of Education, which fully ensures the control and execution of this project.
