On Wednesday, Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation (FLGL) has officially launched the construction work of the agricultural srack starting from Furcy to Panyol (Kenscoff).

In the presence of Deputy for the constituency of Kenscoff, Alfredo Antonio, the Mayor of the commune, Nadal Estime, the Representative of GS Group Engineer Jacques Riboul, the Representative of Café Selecto, Douglas Wiener, of the responsible of of the Klorofil Foundation, Fritz Mevs, and community members, of the Klorofil Foundation, Fritz Mevs, and community members, Berthony Alté, the President of the Board of Directors of the Communal Section (CASEC) of Sourçailles, addressed the heartfelt thanks of the co;;unity of Panyol to Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation for its continued commitment to the development of this remote village that lacks basic infrastructure. He also praised the contribution of all other partners, including the Digicel Foundation, involved in carrying out this essential work for the opening up of the zone.

Michel Gilbert Jérôme, Director of the Classical Training Centre of Panyol, was full of praise for the FLGL who kept its promises and emphasized that this agricultural road, will support economic growth and improve the conditions of life of the population of Panyol allowing it to ship their crops more easily to market.

Note that these works are carried out by the Haitian firm GS Group and funded to the tune of US $ 50,000 by the Digicel Foundation. They involve the excavation and clearing for the construction of an agricultural track of 2.6 km linking the main road of Furcy to the village "Nan Panyol" (3rd communal section of Souçailles of the commune of Kenscoff). It also aims at the development of transport infrastructure to support growth and improve the living conditions of the population of Panyol.
