As part of institutional strengthening, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), in an attempt to strengthen the confidence of political actors and civil society and give credibility to the electoral process, announces the appointment of Robenson Chérilus as new Director of the Votes Tabulation Centre (CTV) and Hilaire Grégory as Deputy Director, both installed in their office this week.

Recall that in mid-June, the Council launched a tender https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17740-haiti-notice-cep-recruitment-of-6-high-level-professionals.html to fill strategic positions of the electoral machine : Deputy Director of the Votes Tabulation Centre (CTV) ; Director of Votes Tabulation Centre (CTV) ; Deputy Director of Legal Affairs (DAJ) ; Deputy Director of Electoral Operations (DOE) ; Human Resources Director ; et Deputy Director of Training and Staff Development.

The CEP specifies that the records of other candidates for these positions, are in phase of treatment and new appointments are imminent.
