Haiti - U17 World Cup : Young Grenadiers enter into competition

The U17 national selection is expected to debut in the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2016 by playing the 1st round of qualifying from 20 to 24 May in the Cayman Islands (territory overseas of the United Kingdom in the Caribbean).

Playing on opponent is always a difficult test but especially for our young selection, which has no game experience abroad; appart 1 or 2 players.

It will also be difficult for the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) to arriving at overcome all the problems that arise before this eventual such as lack of funds to pay the $50,000 of travel and the problems of passport awaited to Haitian immigration for several months. While participating countries know they can take advantage of this kind of appointmentby investing in competitions, Haiti is sinking into its through political and forget the world around us advance...

No doubt that our young U17 are well prepared after three years to "Camp Nous" under the leadership of James Morisset, a teacher who knows his job well, but they will have to out the big game to win the first qualifying place and continue their course on the road of the World Cup... Hopefully the FHF succeed in addressing these issues, if not our young risk of sit in front of the television in Haiti watching the competition unfold face to them...

July 20: Haiti vs Puerto Rico;

July 22: Haiti vs Aruba;

July 24: Cayman vs Haiti.
