Haiti - Elections : UN blackmails Haiti
A tense atmosphere prevails in the country where public demonstrations to demand the departure of outgoing President René Préval is now banned... The publication of the first tuern of elections is expected on December 7, and the UN fears that they are challenged...

The UN [who knows more than the population on the results to come...] used yesterday, at the eyes of the world and without complex... blackmail as leverage on Haiti. Edmond Mulet head of MINUSTAH and unloved in Haiti, issued the message of the UN "The international community will pull out of Haiti and the country will not benefit from international support and resources" in the case where the will of the people [the vote] is not respected [implied by protesters...]. "

If the vote is respected and recognized by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) "the international community will get involved and help the new government to face enormous challenges" to which it will face...

In this intervention, the UN has demonstrated a total lack of diplomacy and democratic spirit... This market-way, proposed to Haitians is simple: If the CEP accepts the results (Which is obvious if there is publication), will require that people accept these results without protest or else... UN will pack up and anymore aid for Haiti !

Knowing the "sulphurous" reputation and lack of credibility of the CEP, we wonder, what the UN has thought when using such an approach with our compatriots ?

The United Nation remembers the meaning of the word freedom ? We no longer have the right to protest against the regime, and the right to challenge the election results... It would be necessary to remind to UN, that Haiti it is not the North Korea.
