Haiti - Politic : New session failed in the Senate

While it is true that in the first roll call 15 senators were present (8 Tuesday) and in the second 14 (7 Tuesday), the quorum was again reversed in the absence of 16 senators required nd the meeting was postponed to Tuesday, August 9 (The Senate sits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the summer).
Ronald Larèche, Senate President, visibly disappointed, urged all senators to fully assume their responsibilities, lamenting of absence without reasonable explanations motivated. Apart Senators Carl Murat Cantave and Francisco Delacruz traveling abroad, the senators absent without just cause are : Edwin Zenny, Hervé Fourcand, Onondieu Louis, Ricard Pierre and Wetsner Polycarpe. He asked absent from ending the empty chair policy, which damages the reputation of all members of the Senate.
