The G30 designates "a single candidate"

The G30 grouping 30 ultra-minority candidates who took part in the presidential election of 2015, was transformed into "Coalition of candidates G30 and allies" (RCG30). The new entity would have chosen the Director of Media, Jacques Sampeur of "Konbit Liberasyon Ekonomik" (KLE) as the sole candidate to represent the RCG30 in the next presidential election. A choice according to several sources do not seem unanimous.

Government Council

The Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles , chaired this week a new Council of Government, around the following themes : Back to School ; implementation of the National Tourism Council (CNT); risk mitigation program for the rainy season and organization of the Conference of Ministers of countries of the Francophonie.

The IC is for printing of ballots in Haiti

The Civic Initiative (IC) welcomes the decision of the Haitian government to finance the elections. Concerning the printing of ballots abroad it states "The IC believes that the production of ballots should not be subject to international tenders and the management of these funds should not be entrusted to UNDP."
