Elections: Welcome to international financial aid

DG of National Press resigns

In a statement the Dominican Presidency enumerating the dignitaries who will come to the inauguration of President Danilo Medina Tuesday, August 16, confirmed that the de facto President of Haiti, Jocelerme Privert was well on the list. Sénatus wants a 14th month salary in the administration

This week, the Senator Jean Renel Sénatus, which advocates a 14th month salary in public administration and has already drafted a bill to this effect, held a working session with several State institutions including the National Old-Age Insurance (ONA) Office, the Electricity of Haiti (EDH), the National Port Authority (APN) and the Office of Insurance Against Third Vehicles (OAVCT). There was discussion on the bill which will require the State to budget a 14th month salary for the benefit of the public administration employees.
