The Commission « discharge » responsible for the exclusion of candidates to the Senate
Senator Jean Baptiste Bien-Aimé, has criticized the behavior of members of the Commission "discharge" of the Senate which according to him, do not fulfill their duties in accordance with the Constitution of 29 March 1987 amended. He regretted that some personalities of the country, have not been authorized by the CEP to participate in the upcoming partial senatorial, having failed to obtain a discharge. The Senator makes the Commission responsible for this situation.

The lower house trying to block the investigations of CEP
Abel Descollines, the First Secretary of the office of the Chamber of Deputies announced that steps have already been taken to transmit to the Executive for publication in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur", the resolution asking the Provisional Electoral Council to suspend its decision to investigate the election of 13 parliamentarians including 9 deputies, following the recommendations of the CIEVE, describing it as an unconstitutional decision.

Jude Célestin unofficially in campaign
This week, Jude Célestin the presidential candidate under the banner of "Alternative League for Progress and the Haiti Emancipation" (LAPEH) began to mobilize his supporters. Accompanied by several former candidates, members of the G8, he met with regional politicians in the lower Central Plateau, with the aim to better know them and give them his instructions. The candidate said he would do everything possible to win the next presidential election in Haiti.

Launch of the 2017-2018 budget works
Earlier this week, Yves Romain Bastien, the Minister of Economy and Finance accompanied by Aviol Fleurant, the Minister of Planning, launched the works for the preparation of the budget of the Republic for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. According to the Minister Bastien, this work meets the requirement of the decree on the preparation of the budget in Article 43.

« Karavan Tèk-Tèk » of CONATEL
The National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL), launch an awareness campaign about the project "Karavan Tèk-Tèk". The goal is to share with the general public, in particular telecommunications service consumers, information on the role of key stakeholders, the various technologies and related services available in Haiti and procedures in force to CONATEL. The caravan will be in Les Cayes from 12 to 14 August.
