Haiti - Justice : Training on human rights to Carrefour
Aware of the need to strengthen the knowledge of community leaders regarding human rights, the Office of Citizen Protection (OPC) conducted at the request of World Link Haiti a 5-day seminar training to Carrefour (Waney 87) around of themes : human rights, child rights and engaged citizenship, for the benefit of 23 young participants leaders, including 5 women.

This training was designed to introduce participants the basic concepts of human rights while aiming to inform them about the role of the OPC, ts mission, its skills and powers.

During the seminar, the animators emphasized the requirements of the practice of commitment. The achievements of this training should materialize in community civic action.

After these 5 days of training, Ms Florence Élie the Protector of Citizens, proceeded to the presentation of certificates and recalled each leader recipient its imperative personal duty to be a multiplier agent of change, hoping that they are all of Ambassadors of the OPCin their social environment.

Beneficiaries have solemnly promised to return the information received, to other young in their respective neighborhoods.
