Haiti - NOTICE : Opening of the Electoral Campaign

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), in accordance with Articles 114 and following of the Electoral Decree of 2 March 2015 and in accordance with the electoral timetable announces the official opening of the electoral campaign from 23 August to 7 October 2016, for partial parliamentary, one-third of the Senate and the presidential election on October 9, 2016.
The campaign will end October 7, 2016 at midnight.
The Council took the opportunity to remind the leaders of parties, political groupings in general, and to candidates in particular, the provisions of sections 114 to 124 of Chapter VIII of that Decree (pages 28 and 29), dealing with the electoral campaign.
