Haiti - Social: After 2 general blackouts, EDH explains

The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs that following the two major incidents that momentarily paralyzed its power grid on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 August, the situation has returned to normal.

EDH explains that Thursday 25 August, strong winds uprooted several trees in Delmas 33, at the street Jean-Baptiste adjacent to our main distribution center commonly known as Dispatching, which affected the line of 69 KV, which immediately caused a general outbreak.

Friday, August 26, it's a freight truck that hit a pole Medium tension at the street Beauvais, zone Catalpa prolonged in Fragneau ville, in the commune of Delmas. This unfortunate accident also caused another general trigger and severe electricity supply problems in some areas of the capital.

Thanks to the teams of engineers and technicians of the Company, all damaged circuits have been restored on the same evening for the benefit of customers.
