Haiti - Elections : Partial assessment, 2 dead, 14 wounded by gunfire
At Les Cayes :
One person was shot dead and a dozen others have been wounded, confirmed the Dr. Louis Jacques of the emergency services at the hospital of the city. The incident occurred when a group of demonstrators, protesting against the election results, brandishing sticks, machetes and firearms claimed the victory of candidate Michel Martelly and attacked the departmental electoral office (BED).

Cap Haïtien :
A young protester was shot dead during clashes between supporters of Jude Célestin, supported by power, and those of the popular singer Michel Martelly, rejected for the second round.

Mirebalais :
In the center of the country in Mirebalais, three protesters were wounded by gunfire, according to local sources.

Port-au-Prince :
At the time of the fire of the HQ of INITE in Port-au-Prince, a person was wounded by bullets.



It is reported to us more deaths and injuries in various regions, and the involvement of Minustah in some of these acts, however we are not able so far to confirm the information given the confusion that reigns in some cities.
