2 days after publication of election results, the traffic on the streets of Port-au-Prince, littered with debris, wrecked of burnt cars and many barricades, is extremely difficult, including the airport road is blocked. Moreover, acts of violence, demonstrations, looters or robbers make dangerous, the movement of people in the city.

Given the situation of tension and violence in the capital, and risks to passengers at the departing or arriving, several airlines have announced the suspension of their flights to and from Haiti, this Thursday, November 9.
