On the sidelines of the 71th regular session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in New York, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert held a bilateral meeting with Dominican President Danilo Medina in which they agreed on a meeting between their respective Chancellors and Directors of Customs. Jocelerme Privert, expressed his desire to further improve relations with the Dominican Republic and said he will do everything in its power to do so.
