Haiti - Politic : Privert wants to do everything to get closer the DR

On the sidelines of the 71th regular session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in New York, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert held a bilateral meeting with Dominican President Danilo Medina in which they agreed on a meeting between their respective Chancellors and Directors of Customs.
Jocelerme Privert, expressed his desire to further improve relations with the Dominican Republic and said he will do everything in its power to do so.
Recall that Privert had already met Danilo Medina in June, on the sidelines of 7th Summit of Heads of State and/or Government of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) in Havana (Cuba), where he gave him the scoop of the date of the next elections, that Haiti did not yet know at this moment... https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17640-haiti-flash-presidential-elections-on-october-9.html
