The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami informs the public in general, that due to the expected impact of Hurricane Matthew in South Florida, the consulate will be closed on Thursday and Friday October 6th and 7th 2016.

Depending on the outcome of the hurricane, the Consulate will re-open as usual to the public on Tuesday October 11th 2016, at 8:00 a.m.

The Consulate urges the members of the Haitian community in Florida for their solidarity, their responsibility and their cautiousness, to stay informed via local media (radio, television, etc...)

The Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando will also be temporarily closed on Thursday 6 and Friday, October 7, 2016.

Consular post invites the community of Central Florida to observe the safety instructions of civil protection and to take appropriate measures to have at their disposal food and health kits.
