Sunday afternoon, the Dominican President Danilo Medina, accompanied by several ministers and advisers arrived at the International Airport Toussaint Louverture aboard the presidential helicopter.

He was welcomed to the diplomatic lounge by the de facto President Jocelerme Privert, Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles, the presidents of both Chambers, Ronald Larèche (Senate) and Cholzer Chancy (Lower House), and several members of the private sector to the invitation of the Head of State.

Privert expressed all his satisfaction with the visit of President Medina came to express his solidarity and that of the Dominican people to the Government and the Haitian people.

This Monday morning in Santo Domingo, at the National Palace Danilo Medina will hold a meeting with his ministers to discuss how the country will help Haiti.
