His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion, following the passage of the hurricane Matthew that hit several regions of Haiti

In this message, the King said he learned with great emotion and great sadness, the extent of casualties and damage caused by Hurricane Matthew.

"On this sad occasion, the Sovereign expressed to President Jocelerme Privert and through him, to the bereaved families and the Haitian friendly people, his sincere condolences and the expression of all his compassion, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured."

The King also assured the Haitian President of the full solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco with the Republic of Haiti in this ordeal.
