Haiti - FLASH : A Gang of car thieves dismantled

Thursday, inspector Gary Desrosiers deputy spokesman of the PNH announced that following an operation conducted in Delmas 75, the police had dismantled a gang that specialized in stealing cars, mainly Nissan Patrol and Toyota Land Cruiser.
The brain of this criminal organization, Rehoboam Lauzamar, 37, a police officer Agent IV, a civilian employee of the PNH, specializing in forgery engine numbers and two other gang members have been presented to the press.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition were seized in the homes of members of this gang "4 12-gauge shotguns; 5 .22 caliber rifles; a Kalashnikov rifle; 2 revolvers caliber 38; 3 9 mm pistols; a 45 caliber pistol and 500 cartridges of all calibers", weapons that were used during the stick-up followed by vehicle theft, explained Gary Desrosiers.
