Haiti - FLASH : Shooting in a church, two injured
Friday as the Church of God of Provence, a locality of Petit-Goâve, led by Pastor Louinès Louis, was celebrating its 4th anniversary during a special service, attended by many faithful from other churches, gunshots were suddenly fired in the temple, wounding two women, Farlie Érant (16), Louisane Chéry (41). The first was shot in the ankle and the second was shot twice in the leg, the two victims were treated at the hospital Notre-Dame of Petit-Goâve.

According to church members, they are police officers who would have shot in an operation they carried out against a bandit in the area...

However, the Police Commissioner of Petit-Goâve, Serge Barreau explained "we were informed that 'Ti Rony', a dangerous bandit had been tasked to assassinate a member of this church on Friday. Police were dispatched to prevent the crime... According to the report of the police, this is Ti Rony that shoot in all directions to protect his escape, which injured two women in the church..."

Deploring this incident, the Commissioner Barreau as promised to do everything to find and capture "Ti Rony" and identify the intellectual authors of this plot.
