Haiti - Politic : Privert concerned by recent floods

Sunday, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert, expressed concern about the recent floods in 4 departments, caused by torrential rains in the night from Saturday 5 to Sunday, November 6, 2016 and particularly in the city of Cap-Haitien where most streets of downtown and surrounding areas are under water. In order to provide assistance as soon as possible to the people of the Great North, the Ministry of Public Works is working to restore circulation while the Civil Protection Directorate (DPC) continues damage assessment in the various affected regions.
